About Fraser Hickson

For well over a century, Fraser Hickson has advanced literacy and intellectual inquiry among those who have limited access to books. For generations, they have been the bridge between Montreal’s two founding linguistic communities, as well as a multicultural hub which is further enriched by a coveted collection of more than 130,000 books and related materials in 16 different languages. Their mission is to enrich the community by working with partners to facilitate free access to books, related materials and services in English, French and other languages, especially for the very young and for those in need.

How we helped

We love working with organisations that have a long, strong history in our community, and Fraser Hickson is no exception. When asked to rebrand this 130 year old organisation, we took special care to preserve it’s values and heritage while freshening up the look to appeal to today’s audience. The website we built for them is based in WordPress to allow them the flexibilty they need to make updates themselves and continue their work for the next century.

Mobile Friendly Website

With one-quarter of global web searches conducted on a mobile device by over a billion users worldwide, mobile websites are just as important, if not more so, than desktop versions. Fraser Hickson recognized the importance of a flexible format and has offered easy to digest content which created a better user experience and ultimately fosters better trust among the audience.
