About MUHC Foundation
Founded in 1998, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation exists to fund patient care and research across the MUHC and support the institution’s teaching mandate. From paediatric to adult medicine, the MUHC Foundation ensures a continued source of funding and strives to build a healthier future for the community. Firmly committed to making a difference in patients’ lives, it plays a pivotal role in supporting exceptional programs, purchasing leading medical equipment, fostering ground-breaking research, and ensuring the highest level of teaching offered at its constituent hospitals.
How we helped
The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation and the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) Foundation have integrated their operations and human resources to coordinate their efforts in order to fulfil their mission of raising funds in support of the McGill University Health Centre’s priorities.
As such, Phil Communications was mandated to develop a new website serving both organisations and adding new functionalities. Stay tuned!
New super hospital, new super website for its Foundation!
Increase traffic and donations
We developed the new website to better showcase the Foundation’s work and to demonstrate the impact donors have on the hospital and its services.
With nearly 50% of all web traffic now coming from mobile phones and tablets, the new website is mobile responsive, making the user experience optimal no matter what device they choose to visit the website with.
Thanks to WordPress’ ease of use and simple backend management, the client is able to regularly update the website content without any programming knowledge. Supported by a large community of open-source programmers throughout the world, WordPress is the most popular CMS in the world and is used by nearly 75 million websites.
